Well, someone upstairs was also very tired of my whining. So he made it rain.
A lot.
First day was lovely.
Second day was nice too.
Third day and I was pretty sure I could write off watering for the rest of the week.
Eighth day and it is getting old.
I went out yesterday to finish up part of the backyard garden. First few hours were great. Last few hours underwent quite a rain delay. I emptied some water out of a basin midway through the rain and it now has two or three inches in it. I stuck my finger in one of the puddles in the lawn and it was up to my second knuckle. I went out to plant the rest of the plants and found myself making mudpies around the roots, something I'm not sure they've gotten over yet.
But that's Florida rainy season, right? All or nothing!
